Clover Canyon wood grain print dress $119 at ShopBop!

My new fascination is with prints, but not of the geometric, repetitive sort. Instead, my eye is drawn to photographic images of landscapes or textures, clearly manipulated and screened onto various fabrics. Case in point, this wood grain print dress by Clover Canyon. I'd wear it as a tunic with a tank and leggings underneath, sometimes belted. It's a pretty versatile piece: dress it up with heels, or slip it on over you bikini poolside. Best yet, it's on sale! It's $119.00, regularly $238.00, from ShopBop.

Printed Elements Skirt $128 at Anthropologie!

There's not a girl I know who doesn't just absolutely adore the clothes at Anthropologie. With rustic details and a sophisticated edge, they're eminently wearable and covetable. So yesterday, with five minutes to kill, I popped into their store on 16th Street and Fifth Avenue, and stumbled upon this Most Amazing Skirt! The print is just amazing, and nature-inspired: you can imagine strata of various rocks on the mountainside, or the vivid colors of a Western sunset over the desert. Crafted of silk, with many tiny pintucks at the waistline, it will steal the show, so go easy on whatever blouse you pick to wear with it. Add some slouchy boots or fierce, strappy heels and you'll have an outfit to remember. It's $128.00 from Anthropologie.

Tweed biker vest $108 from Miss Me!

This vest has a whiff of Chanel with it's raw-edged seams and tweedy texture, which can only be a good thing. Slip it on over a thin wool sweater, or layer it up like the model with a cami and cardigan underneath. Or maybe you're feeling daring, and you just wear it on it's own, zipped up? Add your favourite jeans or a pencil skirt, and you're ready to roll. It's $108.00 from Miss Me.

Grandpa cardigan now $103 from Alexander Wang!

It seems kind of ironic that a trendy designer like Alexander Wang would offer up a piece called a "Grandpa Cardigan", but so it goes! (They're a bunch of busy bees over there in the AW design studios; the lights from the studios burn well into the wee hours many nights and are clearly visible from my bedroom window.) Actually, this cardigan is a comfy, relaxed piece that would be great over a long sleeved tissue T and leggings on a cold, snowy day cooped up indoors. It has a bit of tweedy appeal, too, because of the wool blend yarn, but it also comes in black and mushroom. Best yet, it's on sale, regularly $214.00, now $103.00, from Alexander Wang.

The color pink lifts the mood, and puts a warm glow on everything around, so get in on the trend! Vintage silk 2D square neckerchief, $38.00 from Echo;

Jeffrey Campbell Mary-Roks Sandal- Pink $120.00 from Lori's Shoes;

Ice Watch Pink Silicon Watch $103.44 from ASOS.
