Just when I think I've heard of everything in terms of reusing and repurposing materials for decorative projects, something even more innovative comes along to make me say "wow." Uncommon Goods has something truly uncommon with this parchment cuff bracelet made from slices of fresh watermelon and radish. The slices are pressed and dried into a translucent sheet of parchment, which is then attached to a copper cuff.
This organic bracelet is not only gorgeous, it's also unique - because the parchment is made from dried fruits and vegetables, each bracelet is of course slightly different, and so your bracelet will not be like any other. California artisan Margaret Dorfman makes each of these beautiful cuffs by hand, and each is one-of-a-kind.
The cuff is beautiful and shimmery in person, and the copper really shines through the parchment to create a lovely glowing effect. Pair this jewelry with a summery embroidered dress.
