Na-be by Victorya Hong Fall 2008

On Friday, opening day of New York's Fashion Week, I had the pleasure of attending the Na-be by Victorya Hong Fall 2008 fashion show, compliments of Coutorture. Needless to say, as a fashion industry outsider, it was pretty exciting to see a show live, albeit packed into the sidelines standing room only, in a 90 degree room! Her collection was unfussy, very wearable, and almost reminiscent of 80s styling (minus the big shoulder pads); one of my favourite piece was this sleeveless peacoat style dress (left). A few trends in her collection that could work even for this spring are the tuxedo-inspired belts (middle), and small pops of bright color (right). To see the entire collection, visit Coutorture. This is a random question, but does anyone know what the fab music was at her show? If you have the scoop, please comment below!
